These gongs are steel plates, found at a train stop on Northeastern Ohio, near the train tracks.

They are made and played by the Ohio band, aptly named "The Gongs". They are hung from a huge log that was found on the shores of Lake Erie.

Each gong contains such a complexity of tones, that by carefully noticing different places and nodes on each gong, melodies can be played on a few gongs.
